Known for her soulful\, blues-tinged Americana and her work with the Madison-based trio Gin\, Chocolate & Bottle Rockets\, Shawndell brings powerful vocals and heartfelt songwriting to this unique setting. \n\n\n\nThis concert is part of the 2025 Music at the Mill Concert Series\, produced in partnership with Eventures Presents and the Portage County Historical Society\, which has owned and operated the Rising Star Mill since 1985. Proceeds benefit the Historical Society’s educational programming across its historic sites. \n\n\n\nProceeds from this concert help preserve and operate the 1868 Rising Star Mill—one of the last remaining historic grist mills in Wisconsin and a treasured landmark in Nelsonville. \n\n\n\nSupporting Sponsor: William Schierl and Sarena MelotteDoors open at 6:00 PM.
