Join us for a sensory-friendly evening designed for anyone looking for a more relaxed museum experience\, no matter their age or ability level\, as well as their caregivers and families. \n\n\n\nAt this FREE event\, you’ll have access to the Museum as well as an opportunity to take a sensory-friendly submarine tour aboard USS COBIA!  \n\n\n\n\nLoud exhibit sounds will be turned down\n\n\n\nOur Sensory Backpacks will be out! These backpacks include: \n\nVisual schedules\n\n\n\nWeighted lap blankets\n\n\n\nSocial narratives\n\n\n\nHeadphones\n\n\n\nFidgets\n\n\n\nA communication book. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease note that these backpacks are free to check out for use in the Museum anytime. \n\n\n\nThe Wisconsin Maritime Museum welcomes all people to connect with Wisconsin’s waterways.
