DESCRIPTION:Description \n\n\n\nAt SHP\, we fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical\, emotional and mental support that a child needs! \n\n\n\nPurpose\n\n\n\nVolunteering with SHP provides the opportunity to meet other wonderful volunteers within your community. Rubbing shoulders with complete strangers while building a bed for a child in need can turn into lifelong friendships. \n\n\n\nRole\n\n\n\nAs a volunteer\, you will have a chance to learn how to use woodworking tools such as saws\, drills\, sanders and many other pieces of equipment! \n\n\n\nVibe\n\n\n\nThis opportunity is full of energy\, teamwork\, and heart. Everyone plays a role in changing a child’s life. It’s a day where strangers become teammates and purpose turns into action. The impact is immediate and unforgettable. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Please register to volunteer by following this link to our sign up sheet:  Join us to build beds for kids in our community! No experience needed! All are welcome!! Minor volunteers ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. 4pm-8pm w/ clean up at the end.
