DESCRIPTION:It’s that time when families start planning on what they’re going to do for the summer! \n\n\n\nLet Kids Bowl Free help!  Each registered child (check each center for age requirements) gets to bowl 2 games free every single day!  (Check individual bowling alleys for shoe rental details) all summer long at NO Cost to Parents!  (But plan for the concessions…. my kids LOVE bowling alley food\, just sayin’) \n\n\n\nParents\, do you want to bowl with your kids? Then you’ll want to check out the Family Pass! This allows parents\, older siblings and babysitters to bowl alongside the registered kids. This is a one-time payment that allows up to 4 adults to bowl 2 games free all summer long\, with your Kids Bowl Free registered children. (You can add the family pass on at any time during the season.) \n\n\n\nHow it works: \n\n\n\n\nLocate a Kids Bowl Free participating location near you (this is the only one covered all summer)\n\n\n\nRegister – Create your Kids Bowl Free account and register your kids.  Decide if the Family Pass is right for your family.\n\n\n\nHave Fun – Make Memories – Go Screen-Free — Make New Friends–  Bowl 2 games free every day\, all summer long! \n\n\n\n\nThings to Note: \n\n\n\n\nEach bowling alley determines the times the program is active. Program begins April 30th! You can find the details here when you choose a location near you. Dates and Times will vary! (I’ve seen some start as early as April 30th and as late as June 1st and end between August 30-Sept 2) I’ve seen only 1 with hours available 7 days a week.\n\n\n\nCheck each location for age requirements. I’ve seen them range from 2-18 with some ending as early as 15.\n\n\n\nI found at least 8 participating centers within 60 minutes of Clintonville.\n\n\n\nThe Registration is not transferable between the different bowling centers.

DESCRIPTION:Homeschool Days at Wade House on Tuesday\, May 19 has been canceled! All other sessions are open. 𝗔𝗻 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝟭𝟴𝟬𝟬𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲-𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 Calling all homeschool learners and non-traditional students! Learners of all ages will be invited to explore the horse-powered world of Wade House and Wisconsin in the mid-1800s. Upon arrival\, visitors can step inside a reproduction stagecoach and learn about plank road travel. The horse-drawn world of the 19th century is on display in the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum\, where learners will test their skills by building their very own model carriage. A horse-drawn wagon transports visitors across the Mullet River to the historic core of the site where authentically costumed interpreters\, muscle power and waterpower bring to life the work of the blacksmith and sawyer. Guests will also tour the 27-room Stagecoach Hotel\, which once served weary travelers along the Plank Road. Register Today: https://wihist.org/3O2T1YK \n\n\n\n𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Wade House Stagecoach Inn was constructed conveniently between the cities of Fond du Lac and Sheboygan\, along a well-used stagecoach trail. This made the 27-room Greek Revival hotel a popular resting point for weary travelers. Three generations of the Wade family resided on the Wade House property\, with the stagecoach inn operating until around 1872. The Kohler family and the Kohler Foundation purchased Wade House in 1950 and began a top-to-bottom restoration. The site became property of the Wisconsin Historical Society and opened to the public in 1953. Here\, visitors can journey back to the horse-powered world that existed before planes\, cars\, and trains. The site features the stagecoach hotel built and owned by Sylvanus and Betsey Wade\, early settlers of Greenbush\, as well as a blacksmith shop\, sawmill\, and the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum\, which houses Wisconsin’s largest collection of carriages and wagons. Visitors can enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides from the visitor center to the historic core and back again. \n\n\n\n𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗚𝗼\nPrograms will be held outdoors and in museum buildings\, rain or shine.\nDress appropriately for weather conditions.\nVisit time can last up to four hours.\nPlease bring your own lunch if you plan to eat while at Wade House. SUMMARY:Junior Investigator Program: 🌎Renewable Energy
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Junior Investigators Program designed for ages 6 to 12 happening on the 4th Wednesday of the month. Open to homeschoolers and school-age children who would like to attend. If you enjoyed learning about a variety of topics at Storytime\, then Junior Investigators program is designed for those who have grown out of Storytime. We will explore a different topic each month and do a variety of lessons and activities to help further expand the participants’ understanding of the topics. The topic of our September Junior Investigators program is Renewable Energy.Be dressed for the weather as we’ll be heading outside for portions of this program. Come and have fun as we discover a variety of different topics each month\, explore outside\, and more. NNC staff will monitor the weather\, temperature\, and conditions and adjust as needed if we need to stay indoors.  Ages: 6 -12 (Younger siblings are welcome) Max of 30 kids\, so registration is required. Fee: $5 per child doing the activities. Register online or by calling 715-758-6999.
