DESCRIPTION:Wheels on Werner Allen – A Fall Fest Kickoff Event! \n\n\n\nGet ready for a fun-filled Friday evening as we kick off Fall Fest with Wheels on Werner Allen! The New London Area Chamber of Commerce\, New London Lions Club\, and the Wolf River Classic Chevy Club are teaming up to bring you a no-fuss\, no-registration car show at Werner Allen in New London. \n\n\n\nThis event is open to all makes and models of collector cars\, trucks\, and motorcycles. Whether you’re a car enthusiast or just love seeing classic vehicles\, this is the place to be! \n\n\n\nADMISSIONFREE for vehicles and spectators! \n\n\n\nVEHICLE REGISTRATIONNo registration fee required for vehicles.The first 150 vehicles will receive a dash plaque.The first 50 motorcycles will receive a patch. \n\n\n\nCAR SHOW DETAILSCar Staging: 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.Car Show Starts: 5 p.m.Vehicles Disperse: 8:15 p.m.Vehicles can enter the staging area at West Jennings Street into Hatten Park before 4 p.m. The only acceptable entrance to the car show parking area is through the staging area\, so be sure to follow the signs and the guidance of our volunteers. You will not be able to access Werner Allen after 4 p.m. \n\n\n\nGROUNDS RULESWhen leaving the event at 8:15 p.m.\, please move at a safe and respectful pace to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.Strictly NO unlawful displays of power\, including flame-throwing\, burnouts\, or spinning tires. Offenders will be ticketed by the New London Police Department.No pets allowed on the grounds as per City of New London Ordinance # 9.41. Violators will face fines. \n\n\n\nNEW THIS YEAR: Beer will be available within the event perimeter (Werner Allen and Hatten Park). Alcohol is prohibited on school property—violators will be fined. No carry-ins allowed.Due to the new location\, there will be no cruise. Vehicles will disperse at 8:15 p.m. \n\n\n\nFOOD ON THE GROUNDSA variety of delicious food and beverages will be available\, provided by the New London Lions Club. This is their major fundraiser\, so come hungry!Food and beverage stand opens at 4 p.m. near the Hatten Park entrance. \n\n\n\nFIRST AID & EMERGENCIESIn the event of a medical emergency\, please notify the Chamber booth or Lions Club stand immediately. Police will be available throughout the event. \n\n\n\nRESTROOM FACILITIESPort-a-potties are available throughout Werner Allen and Hatten Park for your convenience. \n\n\n\nParticipants are encouraged to bring their classic vehicles or vehicles they’re especially proud of—this event is open to all makes and models. Last year\, we lost count\, but we’re pretty sure over 240 vehicles attended\, including hot rods\, classic cars\, motorcycles\, and more. Spectators will enjoy seeing these amazing machines\, participating in raffles\, and winning great prizes as Yo DJ Entertainment sets the vibe with live tunes. \n\n\n\nThe New London Lions Club will be serving food and beverages all evening long right inside Hatten Park. \n\n\n\nDon’t miss out on this awesome event to kick off Fall Fest with some great vehicles\, food\, and fun! \n\n\n\nSee you at Wheels on Werner Allen!
