The New London Area Chamber of Commerce\, New London Lions Club\, and the Wolf River Classic Chevy Club are teaming up to bring you a no-fuss\, no-registration car show at Werner Allen in New London. \n\n\n\nThis event is open to all makes and models of collector cars\, trucks\, and motorcycles. Whether you’re a car enthusiast or just love seeing classic vehicles\, this is the place to be! \n\n\n\nADMISSIONFREE for vehicles and spectators! \n\n\n\nVEHICLE REGISTRATIONNo registration fee required for vehicles.The first 150 vehicles will receive a dash plaque.The first 50 motorcycles will receive a patch. \n\n\n\nCAR SHOW DETAILSCar Staging: 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.Car Show Starts: 5 p.m.Vehicles Disperse: 8:15 p.m.Vehicles can enter the staging area at West Jennings Street into Hatten Park before 4 p.m. The only acceptable entrance to the car show parking area is through the staging area\, so be sure to follow the signs and the guidance of our volunteers. You will not be able to access Werner Allen after 4 p.m. \n\n\n\nGROUNDS RULESWhen leaving the event at 8:15 p.m.\, please move at a safe and respectful pace to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.Strictly NO unlawful displays of power\, including flame-throwing\, burnouts\, or spinning tires. Offenders will be ticketed by the New London Police Department.No pets allowed on the grounds as per City of New London Ordinance # 9.41. Violators will face fines. \n\n\n\nNEW THIS YEAR: Beer will be available within the event perimeter (Werner Allen and Hatten Park). Alcohol is prohibited on school property—violators will be fined. No carry-ins allowed.Due to the new location\, there will be no cruise. Vehicles will disperse at 8:15 p.m. \n\n\n\nFOOD ON THE GROUNDSA variety of delicious food and beverages will be available\, provided by the New London Lions Club. This is their major fundraiser\, so come hungry!Food and beverage stand opens at 4 p.m. near the Hatten Park entrance. \n\n\n\nFIRST AID & EMERGENCIESIn the event of a medical emergency\, please notify the Chamber booth or Lions Club stand immediately. Police will be available throughout the event. \n\n\n\nRESTROOM FACILITIESPort-a-potties are available throughout Werner Allen and Hatten Park for your convenience. \n\n\n\nParticipants are encouraged to bring their classic vehicles or vehicles they’re especially proud of—this event is open to all makes and models. DESCRIPTION:The Forest County Humane Society Is proud to announce and offer another fall free vaccine and possibly microchip clinic!Canine DAPP and Feline FVRCP vaccines have been awarded by a grant from Petco Love and without them we would not be able to vaccinate! We are so blessed to be a part of Petco Love’s Grant Award to be able to hold free Vaccine Clinics and free walk- in vaccines any day during business hours. Rabies vaccines are provided by the FCHS from a portion of donated funds as a thank you to all of our supporters and we are so appreciative of all of you\, it is a small gesture where we can offer the communities help by having these clinics.We could not offer the Rabies vaccines if not for the amazing volunteers from the NTC SCNAVTA Club! They are a huge part of this and make it happen! Microchips are donated by Lost Dogs of Wisconsin\, which an amazing group of people that work tirelessly to help reunite lost animals with their families. If your pet is lost\, they are the people to contact and make a flyer. This is a huge team effort\, and we are so thankful and proud to be able to be a part of this great mission to save as many as possible. \n\n\n\nNO COUNTY RESTRICTIONS! \n\n\n\nTime is drawing near! If you need you pets annual vaccines or new pet vaccinated or microchipped\, this is for you! No preregistration this time… just come to the Forest County Humane Society on this date\, from 9-12:00… stay in your car until you are asked to come in. Forms will be available on site. If your pet needs a three year rabies\, proof of prior vaccination is required or it will receive a one year vaccine. Please come prepared. Dogs must be on leashes and muzzled if needed. Cats must be in carriers.
