The reading material and testing is geared towards 11 and 12 year old students. If you have any questions\, feel free to contact Deputy Fischer at the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office 920-832-5605 or at the email provided on the Go Wild registration site. \n\n\n\nStudents must register online using the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Go Wild page. Select the link to browse for safety courses and search for Snowmobile in Outagamie County. You will find our class at the Shadows on the Wolf Educational Center. DESCRIPTION:Family friendly! Recommended age for snowshoeing is 6 & up. \n\n\n\nSnowshoeing is a favorite winter activity for many living here in Wisconsin. Suit up in your warmest gear and learn the ins and outs of snowshoeing! We’ll talk how to put your snowshoes on\, how to walk\, the best conditions to use them\, and the history behind snowshoes. Bring your own or rent a pair of ours. \n\n\n\nSnowshoeing is weather dependent. If weather does not allow snowshoeing guided snowshoe hikes will turn into guided hikes.  \n\n\n\nTickets can be purchased here

DESCRIPTION:This Hike Has Been Rescheduled to January 31st due to weather (1/19/2026)\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nShawano Pathways will be hosting five winter hikes in 2026. Hikes are free (donations appreciated) and all are encouraged to participate.  \n\n\n\n**Note** – Product links below are affiliate links. \n\n\n\nNote: No RSVP is required.  Please be sure to arrive 15 minutes early. The registration makes sure that staff has a direct contact to keep you informed of changes.One-hour Introduction to traditional cross-country skiing. Learn basic kick\, glide\, stopping\, and turning. Then feel free to head out on our trails to practice and see what makes cross-country skiing fun!Please arrive earlier if you plan to rent.
