DESCRIPTION:A limited selection of socks are available in stock at The Robbins Nest 291 S Main St Clintonville. A much larger selection of socks are available online. Online sales: only socks under “Individual Socks” qualify for our fundraiser. \n\n\n\nWe will also have a booth space at Fire & Iron Gathering for The Robbins Nest Pick’n Dayz during the Clintonville City-Wide Rummage Sales on May 11th.  We will have a larger selection of socks and sizes. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen shopping at Mabel’s Labels\, when you get to the website\, it will ask you to select an organization.  We are listed under Rural Northeast Wisconsin Families (Bear Creek).  You don’t need to type all that in.  \n\n\n\nFun Pasta is a fun\, delicious product.  They have options for everyone.  There are sports\, animals\, seasonal\, vegan\, gluten-free and everything in between.  An awesome option – makes mealtime fast\, and easy while also supporting many families. All proceeds from purchases made from any of these companies will be split. I will use my portion for community-based events like bringing back Boo Baskets and North Pole Santa\, among other events. DESCRIPTION:The May 18th premiere screening of “Back on Track: Rebuilding the Waupaca Train Depot” will take place at the Gerold Opera House in Weyauwega. The feature-film documentary depicts the history and salvaging of the Waupaca depot and its surprising impact on the community today. \n\n\n\nDirected by Max Hauser\, award-winning filmmaker of Iola and Appleton\, in association with Emmy award-winning producer Ron Scott\, the film focuses on Mike Kirk. Mike’s love of model trains inspired him to lead his family and friends in a decades long journey to restore an abandoned train depot back to its original glory as a beautiful historical site. \n\n\n\nThe role of trains in the history of America is romantic\, nostalgic\, and of course the lifeblood of the post industrialization world. Rural towns like Waupaca would not exist if it were not for the railroads that united the United States. \n\n\n\nThe film chronicles the remarkable saga of Mike Kirk\, a devoted model train enthusiast whose unwavering determination\, along with the support of a dedicated circle of family and friends\, spearheaded the decades-long restoration of the long-abandoned train depot nestled in the heart of rural Waupaca. Through Kirk’s indomitable spirit and vision\, the Waupaca Depot emerges as a phoenix rising from literal ashes\, symbolizing resilience and community revival. \n\n\n\nDoors open at 6:30pm\, screening at 7:30pm.
