DESCRIPTION:The Brown County Sheriff’s Department/Howard Police and Howard Fire Rescue invite the community to visit with us from 5 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 4\, 2026\, at the Howard Commons Activity Complex\, located at 550 Commons Place in Howard\, to share some fun at National Night Out. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help keep our community a safe place to live. There will be many family-friendly activities and demonstrations throughout the night. Boy Scout Troop #1033 will be fundraising through food sales\, and there will also be ice cream and sweet treats for sale. The evening’s activities include: \n\n\n\n\n • Brown County Sheriff’s Department (BCSD) K9 Unit demonstration\n\n\n\n • BCSD SWAT Vehicle\n\n\n\n • Fire Safety House and inflatable Fire Prevention House\n\n\n\n • Fire Truck tours\n\n\n\n • Animal Control information\n\n\n\n • Dunk tank\n\n\n\n • Bounce House\n\n\n\n • Face Painting\n\n\n\n • Food Trucks\n\n\n\nFREE roller skating\n\n\n\nSWAT and EMS vehicles\n\n\n\nEagle III Medical Helicopter (weather and emergencies permitting)\n\n\n\n\n • Many other fun activities We hope to see you there! \n\n\n\nPlus\, help us fill The Giving Tree\, Howard-Suamico School District by bringing a non-perishable food item.
