DESCRIPTION:🦎 EVERY DAY IS A HOLIDAY! 🦎September 8 is Iguana Awareness Day! \n\n\n\nWell\, we’ve celebrated food.We’ve celebrated cats.We’ve celebrated books. \n\n\n\nToday? \n\n\n\nGIANT LIZARDS. 😂 \n\n\n\nHappy Iguana Awareness Day! \n\n\n\nAnd whether you think they’re fascinating or fall firmly into the “that’s very cool…from over there” category\, iguanas are pretty incredible animals. \n\n\n\n🦎 DID YOU KNOW? \n\n\n\n🌿 Green iguanas are primarily herbivores.Despite their tiny dinosaur appearance\, their diet is largely leaves\, flowers and fruit. \n\n\n\n👀 They basically have a THIRD EYE.Iguanas have a light-sensitive organ on top of their heads called a parietal eye. It doesn’t see detailed pictures like their regular eyes\, but it can detect changes in light and shadows — which can help alert them to danger from above. \n\n\n\n🏊 They’re surprisingly good swimmers!An iguana can use its powerful tail to propel itself through the water. \n\n\n\n☀️ They’re solar-powered little dinosaurs.Okay\, not literally. 😂 Iguanas are ectothermic\, so they rely on outside heat sources to regulate their body temperature. That’s why you’ll often see them basking in the sun. \n\n\n\n🦎 AND THAT TAIL? \n\n\n\nIt’s not just for swimming and balance. \n\n\n\nAn iguana can use its tail like a whip to defend itself — and some iguanas can even drop part of their tail when threatened and later regrow some of it. \n\n\n\nSuddenly the little dinosaur comparison doesn’t seem so ridiculous. 😂 \n\n\n\n❤️ BUT THERE’S AN IMPORTANT REASON FOR TODAY\, TOO. \n\n\n\nIguana Awareness Day isn’t just about appreciating cool reptiles. \n\n\n\nIguanas can require specialized diets\, appropriate heat and UVB lighting\, LOTS of space and long-term care. \n\n\n\nAnd that adorable little iguana at the pet store? \n\n\n\nIt doesn’t stay little. \n\n\n\nGreen iguanas can grow to several feet long\, including that enormous tail\, and caring for one can be a commitment lasting many years. \n\n\n\nSo today’s reminder applies to ALL pets: \n\n\n\n🐾 Research first.🏠 Know what they’ll need as adults.💰 Understand the long-term cost.❤️ And make sure you’re prepared for the commitment BEFORE bringing one home. \n\n\n\n📸 NOW WE NEED TO SEE THE REPTILES! \n\n\n\nDo you have an iguana? \n\n\n\nWe absolutely need a picture. 👇 \n\n\n\nNo iguana? Each registered child (check each center for age requirements) gets to bowl 2 games free every single day!  (Check individual bowling alleys for shoe rental details) all summer long at NO Cost to Parents!  (But plan for the concessions…. my kids LOVE bowling alley food\, just sayin’) \n\n\n\nParents\, do you want to bowl with your kids? Then you’ll want to check out the Family Pass! This allows parents\, older siblings and babysitters to bowl alongside the registered kids. This is a one-time payment that allows up to 4 adults to bowl 2 games free all summer long\, with your Kids Bowl Free registered children. (You can add the family pass on at any time during the season.) \n\n\n\nHow it works: \n\n\n\n\nLocate a Kids Bowl Free participating location near you (this is the only one covered all summer)\n\n\n\nRegister – Create your Kids Bowl Free account and register your kids.  Decide if the Family Pass is right for your family.\n\n\n\nHave Fun – Make Memories – Go Screen-Free — Make New Friends–  Bowl 2 games free every day\, all summer long! \n\n\n\n\nThings to Note: \n\n\n\n\nEach bowling alley determines the times the program is active. Program begins April 30th! You can find the details here when you choose a location near you. Dates and Times will vary! (I’ve seen some start as early as April 30th and as late as June 1st and end between August 30-Sept 2) I’ve seen only 1 with hours available 7 days a week.\n\n\n\nCheck each location for age requirements. I’ve seen them range from 2-18 with some ending as early as 15.\n\n\n\nI found at least 8 participating centers within 60 minutes of Clintonville.\n\n\n\nThe Registration is not transferable between the different bowling centers.

DESCRIPTION:🧩 EVERY DAY IS A HOLIDAY! 🧩September 9 is International Sudoku Day! \n\n\n\nGrab a pencil. ✏️Warm up the brain. \n\n\n\nAnd maybe pour another cup of coffee first. ☕😂 \n\n\n\nToday is International Sudoku Day! \n\n\n\nAnd there’s actually a clever reason we celebrate it on September 9 — 9/9. \n\n\n\n🔢 A standard Sudoku puzzle has a 9 × 9 grid\, divided into nine smaller 3 × 3 boxes. \n\n\n\nThe goal? \n\n\n\nFill the grid with the numbers 1 through 9 so that each number appears only once in every: \n\n\n\n➡️ Row⬇️ Column🔲 3 × 3 box \n\n\n\nAnd despite all those numbers… \n\n\n\n🤯 Sudoku isn’t really a math game! \n\n\n\nYou don’t need to add\, subtract\, multiply or divide anything. \n\n\n\nIt’s a logic puzzle. \n\n\n\nTechnically\, you could replace 1–9 with nine different symbols and play the exact same game. \n\n\n\nSo if you just had a flashback to high school algebra… \n\n\n\nYou can come back now. Each registered child (check each center for age requirements) gets to bowl 2 games free every single day!  (Check individual bowling alleys for shoe rental details) all summer long at NO Cost to Parents!  (But plan for the concessions…. my kids LOVE bowling alley food\, just sayin’) \n\n\n\nParents\, do you want to bowl with your kids? Then you’ll want to check out the Family Pass! This allows parents\, older siblings and babysitters to bowl alongside the registered kids. This is a one-time payment that allows up to 4 adults to bowl 2 games free all summer long\, with your Kids Bowl Free registered children. (You can add the family pass on at any time during the season.) \n\n\n\nHow it works: \n\n\n\n\nLocate a Kids Bowl Free participating location near you (this is the only one covered all summer)\n\n\n\nRegister – Create your Kids Bowl Free account and register your kids.  Decide if the Family Pass is right for your family.\n\n\n\nHave Fun – Make Memories – Go Screen-Free — Make New Friends–  Bowl 2 games free every day\, all summer long! \n\n\n\n\nThings to Note: \n\n\n\n\nEach bowling alley determines the times the program is active. Program begins April 30th! You can find the details here when you choose a location near you. Dates and Times will vary! (I’ve seen some start as early as April 30th and as late as June 1st and end between August 30-Sept 2) I’ve seen only 1 with hours available 7 days a week.\n\n\n\nCheck each location for age requirements. I’ve seen them range from 2-18 with some ending as early as 15.\n\n\n\nI found at least 8 participating centers within 60 minutes of Clintonville.\n\n\n\nThe Registration is not transferable between the different bowling centers.

DESCRIPTION:🛏️ EVERY DAY IS A HOLIDAY! 🛏️September 11 is Make Your Bed Day! \n\n\n\nWe’ve taken some time this morning to recognize the much more important significance of September 11. \n\n\n\nBut our calendar also tells us today is Make Your Bed Day\, so we’re continuing our Every Day is a Holiday adventure with one VERY achievable challenge. \n\n\n\nWell… \n\n\n\nAchievable for most of us. 😂 \n\n\n\n🛏️ MAKE. YOUR. BED. \n\n\n\nThat’s it. \n\n\n\nThat’s the holiday. \n\n\n\nNo special ingredients.No craft supplies.No complicated instructions. \n\n\n\nJust pull up the blankets\, straighten the pillows and enjoy approximately 37 seconds of accomplishment before somebody throws laundry on top of it. 😂 \n\n\n\nBut there actually may be something to this little habit. \n\n\n\nMaking your bed gives you one small task you can finish right at the beginning of the day. \n\n\n\nIt doesn’t have to be Pinterest perfect. \n\n\n\nNobody is inspecting your hospital corners. \n\n\n\nDone is good enough. \n\n\n\n👧 AND TODAY\, THE KIDS ARE INCLUDED! \n\n\n\nLet little ones arrange approximately 14 stuffed animals exactly where they apparently NEED to sleep. \n\n\n\nChallenge older kids to see who can make theirs fastest. \n\n\n\nAnd teenagers? \n\n\n\nKnock first. \n\n\n\nWe’re not responsible for what you find in there. 😂 \n\n\n\n👇 TIME FOR A VERY SCIENTIFIC SURVEY: \n\n\n\nWhich household are you? \n\n\n\n🅰️ Bed gets made EVERY morning. \n\n\n\n🅱️ I make it when I have time. \n\n\n\n🅲️ Why would I make something I’m getting back into tonight? \n\n\n\n🅳️ Does pulling the blanket over everything when company comes count? \n\n\n\nYes. Yes\, it does. 😂 \n\n\n\n🛏️ Happy Make Your Bed Day! \n\n\n\nGo accomplish one thing today. \n\n\n\nAnd if that one thing happens to be making your bed… \n\n\n\nLook at you\, already celebrating a holiday. ❤️
