However\, a child may transfer to a nonresident school district for early childhood education or 4K only if the childā€™s resident school district offers the same type of program and only if the child is eligible for that program in the resident school district. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere was a question a while back regarding open-enrollment. \n\n\n\nAccording to the WI DPI\, these are the only acceptable reasons a resident district can deny an open-enrollment request. \n\n\n\nPlease note that it does not say ā€œtoo many students have applied to out-of-district schoolsā€.
