Board our replica Concord stagecoach as you meet horses\, take photos with them and learn more about the picturesque world of the horse-powered past during your 30-minute ride.  \n\n\n\nOur handsome stagecoach can comfortably accommodate six passengers per tour\, though it may be possible to include more if needed—contact Wade House staff if your group has more than six individuals. Jung Carriage Museum—are also available for purchase. \n\n\n\n𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 A cozy carriage ride alongside family and friends through the Kettle Moraine Forest in a replica Concord stagecoach The chance to meet horses\, snap photos with them and learn more about horse-powered travel in the late 1800s For an additional cost\, the opportunity to visit the entire Wade House Historic Site\, including the 27-room Greek Revival Wade House Stagecoach Inn\, sawmill\, blacksmith shop and Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum.   𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Wade House Stagecoach Inn was constructed conveniently between the cities of Fond du Lac and Sheboygan\, along a well-used stagecoach trail. This made the 27-room Greek Revival hotel a popular resting point for weary travelers. Three generations of the Wade family resided on the Wade House property\, with the stagecoach inn operating until around 1872. The Kohler family and the Kohler Foundation purchased Wade House in 1950 and began a top-to-bottom restoration. The site became property of the Wisconsin Historical Society and opened to the public in 1953. Here\, visitors can journey back to the horse-powered world that existed before planes\, cars\, and trains. The site features the stagecoach hotel built and owned by Sylvanus and Betsey Wade\, early settlers of Greenbush\, as well as a blacksmith shop\, sawmill\, and the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum\, which houses Wisconsin’s largest collection of carriages and wagons. Visitors can enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides from the visitor center to the historic core and back again. 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗚𝗼 \n\n\n\n\n Pre-registration is recommended\, though rides will be offered on the day of the event as space allows.\n\nCheck-in location is the Wade House Visitor Center and Wesley W. Advanced registration is required Book Your Tickets: https://wihist.org/44Ji08X About the Location Wade House Stagecoach Inn was constructed conveniently between the cities of Fond du Lac and Sheboygan\, along a well-used stagecoach trail. This made the 27-room Greek Revival hotel a popular resting point for weary travelers. Three generations of the Wade family resided on the Wade House property\, with the stagecoach inn operating until around 1872. The Kohler family and the Kohler Foundation purchased Wade House in 1950 and began a top-to-bottom restoration. The site became property of the Wisconsin Historical Society and opened to the public in 1953. Here\, visitors can journey back to the horse-powered world that existed before planes\, cars\, and trains. The site features the stagecoach hotel built and owned by Sylvanus and Betsey Wade\, early settlers of Greenbush\, as well as a blacksmith shop\, sawmill\, and the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum\, which houses Wisconsin’s largest collection of carriages and wagons. Visitors can enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides from the visitor center to the historic core and back again.  Know Before You Go & Accessibility Guests should wear proper hiking attire\, including hiking boots\, while traversing the site. Be sure to check the weather leading up to the event and dress appropriately. Snowshoes will be provided for The Woods in Winter hike if weather permits. Water is the only outside beverage allowed. DESCRIPTION:The Brown County Sheriff’s Department/Howard Police and Howard Fire Rescue invite the community to visit with us from 5 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 4\, 2026\, at the Howard Commons Activity Complex\, located at 550 Commons Place in Howard\, to share some fun at National Night Out. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help keep our community a safe place to live. There will be many family-friendly activities and demonstrations throughout the night. Boy Scout Troop #1033 will be fundraising through food sales\, and there will also be ice cream and sweet treats for sale. DESCRIPTION:The Upcoming Waupaca County Planning and Zoning Public Hearing on the 2026 Proposed Chapter 34 Zoning Ordinances/Amendments is this Thursday\, August 6th. It is a valuable opportunity for citizens and property owners throughout Waupaca County to voice their opinions on the 2026 proposed zoning ordinances/amendments prior to a Planning and Zoning Committee Advisory vote. If these proposed ordinances are approved as written or amended\, they will be forwarded to the full County Board for a vote at their August 18th meeting. \n\n\n\nA public hearing is a formal government proceeding designed to give citizens/property owners a meaningful opportunity to provide testimony and comment on actions that may be taken by the County Board Committee or the full County Board. \n\n\n\nIf you plan to attend\, please be respectful to the Planning and Zoning Committee Members\, the County Zoning staff\, other Citizens present\, as well as respectful for the process that was chosen and for any differing opinions expressed. \n\n\n\nWhy Your Voice Matters: Decisions being made the Waupaca County Board Committees or the full County Board were founded on the principle and promise of representative democracy. By virtue\, these decisions are meant to reflect the rights\, best interests\, and values of all individuals who live in the county or own property in the county\, not just a select few. Public hearings allow all citizens/property owners to share their concerns with elected officials. Your presence shows that you care about the issues that affect all of us living or owning property in Waupaca County. By attending\, you can help influence and shape the decisions made that impact yourself and others and also help to protect our environment. \n\n\n\nIf You Plan to Make a Public Comment\, generally you are allowed 3 minutes to state your name\, address\, and to state your concerns. Share why the issue matters to you and how it could affect your community. \n\n\n\n\nArrive early to sign the speaker sheet\n\n\n\nStick to your allotted time.
