DESCRIPTION:WisDOT holding public involvement meeting for US 10 in Waupaca CountyThe Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is holding a public involvement meeting to receive input for a proposed project on the eastbound lanes of US 10 from Anderson Road to Apple Tree Lane in Waupaca County. \n\n\n\nThe meeting will be held at the Waupaca Public Library\, Meeting Room A\, 107 South Main Street\, Waupaca\, WI 54981 on Wednesday\, Aug. 5\, 2026\, starting at 5 pm.  A brief presentation will be given at 5:15 pm. Each registered child (check each center for age requirements) gets to bowl 2 games free every single day!  (Check individual bowling alleys for shoe rental details) all summer long at NO Cost to Parents!  (But plan for the concessions…. my kids LOVE bowling alley food\, just sayin’) \n\n\n\nParents\, do you want to bowl with your kids? Then you’ll want to check out the Family Pass! This allows parents\, older siblings and babysitters to bowl alongside the registered kids. This is a one-time payment that allows up to 4 adults to bowl 2 games free all summer long\, with your Kids Bowl Free registered children. (You can add the family pass on at any time during the season.) \n\n\n\nHow it works: \n\n\n\n\nLocate a Kids Bowl Free participating location near you (this is the only one covered all summer)\n\n\n\nRegister – Create your Kids Bowl Free account and register your kids.  Decide if the Family Pass is right for your family.\n\n\n\nHave Fun – Make Memories – Go Screen-Free — Make New Friends–  Bowl 2 games free every day\, all summer long! \n\n\n\n\nThings to Note: \n\n\n\n\nEach bowling alley determines the times the program is active. Program begins April 30th! You can find the details here when you choose a location near you. Dates and Times will vary! (I’ve seen some start as early as April 30th and as late as June 1st and end between August 30-Sept 2) I’ve seen only 1 with hours available 7 days a week.\n\n\n\nCheck each location for age requirements. DESCRIPTION:The Upcoming Waupaca County Planning and Zoning Public Hearing on the 2026 Proposed Chapter 34 Zoning Ordinances/Amendments is this Thursday\, August 6th. It is a valuable opportunity for citizens and property owners throughout Waupaca County to voice their opinions on the 2026 proposed zoning ordinances/amendments prior to a Planning and Zoning Committee Advisory vote. If these proposed ordinances are approved as written or amended\, they will be forwarded to the full County Board for a vote at their August 18th meeting. \n\n\n\nA public hearing is a formal government proceeding designed to give citizens/property owners a meaningful opportunity to provide testimony and comment on actions that may be taken by the County Board Committee or the full County Board. \n\n\n\nIf you plan to attend\, please be respectful to the Planning and Zoning Committee Members\, the County Zoning staff\, other Citizens present\, as well as respectful for the process that was chosen and for any differing opinions expressed. \n\n\n\nWhy Your Voice Matters: Decisions being made the Waupaca County Board Committees or the full County Board were founded on the principle and promise of representative democracy. By virtue\, these decisions are meant to reflect the rights\, best interests\, and values of all individuals who live in the county or own property in the county\, not just a select few. Public hearings allow all citizens/property owners to share their concerns with elected officials. Here’s the answer: The very first engagement of what would become the 2/5ths Party Band was Tom and Patti duo for the 60th wedding anniversary of George and Irene Simon of DePere. The Jerry Schneider Band was comprised of 5 members our first performance was 2 of the 5. Since then\, we’ve grown it to 4 members\, remaining the 2/5ths Party Band\, a continuing tribute to Jerry Schneider and the role he played in getting us all to perform together. Thanks Dad!! DESCRIPTION:Bring a craft or project to work on while visiting with your neighbors! Fridays June through August 2026. No registration is required. We can’t wait to see what you’re working on! Food and drink are welcome. Clean-up is just like at home. If you make a mess\, clean it up. Ask for cleaning supplies when needed. If the meeting room is needed for another library purpose\, space for the Community Craft Connection will be provided in the magazine area. Community Craft Connection is self-directed. Librarians will be in the building but not leading this group. This is an exploratory series. Please suggest changes for improvements.

DESCRIPTION:It’s that time when families start planning on what they’re going to do for the summer! \n\n\n\nLet Kids Bowl Free help!  Each registered child (check each center for age requirements) gets to bowl 2 games free every single day!  (Check individual bowling alleys for shoe rental details) all summer long at NO Cost to Parents!  (But plan for the concessions…. my kids LOVE bowling alley food\, just sayin’) \n\n\n\nParents\, do you want to bowl with your kids? Then you’ll want to check out the Family Pass! This allows parents\, older siblings and babysitters to bowl alongside the registered kids. This is a one-time payment that allows up to 4 adults to bowl 2 games free all summer long\, with your Kids Bowl Free registered children. (You can add the family pass on at any time during the season.) \n\n\n\nHow it works: \n\n\n\n\nLocate a Kids Bowl Free participating location near you (this is the only one covered all summer)\n\n\n\nRegister – Create your Kids Bowl Free account and register your kids.  Decide if the Family Pass is right for your family.\n\n\n\nHave Fun – Make Memories – Go Screen-Free — Make New Friends–  Bowl 2 games free every day\, all summer long! \n\n\n\n\nThings to Note: \n\n\n\n\nEach bowling alley determines the times the program is active. Program begins April 30th! You can find the details here when you choose a location near you. Dates and Times will vary! (I’ve seen some start as early as April 30th and as late as June 1st and end between August 30-Sept 2) I’ve seen only 1 with hours available 7 days a week.\n\n\n\nCheck each location for age requirements. I’ve seen them range from 2-18 with some ending as early as 15.\n\n\n\nI found at least 8 participating centers within 60 minutes of Clintonville.\n\n\n\nThe Registration is not transferable between the different bowling centers.
