DESCRIPTION:🏡❤️ EVERY DAY IS A HOLIDAY! ❤️🏡September 28 is National Good Neighbor Day! \n\n\n\nToday’s holiday is all about the people who live… \n\n\n\nNext door. \n\n\n\nAcross the hall. \n\n\n\nDown the road. \n\n\n\nOr\, because this is Rural Northeast Wisconsin… \n\n\n\napproximately ¾ of a mile away and technically around two corners. 😂 \n\n\n\nIt’s Good Neighbor Day! \n\n\n\nAnd being a good neighbor doesn’t have to mean becoming best friends or showing up with a freshly baked pie. \n\n\n\nSometimes it’s much simpler. \n\n\n\n🏡 Wave when you drive by. \n\n\n\n📦 Grab their package before the rain does. \n\n\n\n❄️ Clear a little extra snow when you’re already out there. \n\n\n\n🗑️ Bring their garbage can back up. \n\n\n\n🌱 Share the extra zucchini your garden has apparently decided to produce by the truckload. \n\n\n\n🐕 Let them know their dog escaped. \n\n\n\n🚜 Help when something gets stuck. \n\n\n\n❤️ Check on them when the power goes out or the weather gets nasty. \n\n\n\nSometimes being a good neighbor is simply knowing: \n\n\n\n“If I really needed something\, I could knock on that door.” \n\n\n\n🌾 AND RURAL NEIGHBORS ARE THEIR OWN SPECIAL CATEGORY. \n\n\n\nYour neighbor might: \n\n\n\n🚜 Plow your driveway without ever mentioning it. \n\n\n\n🌽 Drop off vegetables because “we had extra.” \n\n\n\n🧰 Appear with exactly the tool you needed. \n\n\n\n🐄 Call because something belonging to you is standing somewhere it definitely should NOT be standing. \n\n\n\n😂 \n\n\n\nAnd then disappear back home without expecting anything in return. \n\n\n\n❤️ TODAY’S GOOD NEIGHBOR CHALLENGE: \n\n\n\nDo ONE neighborly thing today. \n\n\n\nIt doesn’t need to cost anything. \n\n\n\n👋 Introduce yourself to someone you haven’t met. \n\n\n\n☎️ Check on an older neighbor. \n\n\n\n🍪 Drop off a treat. \n\n\n\n🌻 Share something from the garden. \n\n\n\n🗑️ Help with a little chore. \n\n\n\n💬 Or simply stop and have an actual conversation. \n\n\n\nAnd parents — bring the kids along. \n\n\n\nBeing part of a community is something they learn by watching us participate in one. \n\n\n\n👇 NOW LET’S HEAR SOME GOOD STORIES! \n\n\n\nWithout sharing anything your neighbor wouldn’t want shared… \n\n\n\nWhat’s the nicest thing a neighbor has ever done for you? \n\n\n\nOr give a neighbor a shout-out: \n\n\n\n❤️ “My neighbor is awesome because ______.” \n\n\n\nLet’s fill the comments with some GOOD neighbor stories today. \n\n\n\nAnd if someone tags you? \n\n\n\nWell… \n\n\n\nNow you know you’re doing something right. ❤️ \n\n\n\n🏡 Happy Good Neighbor Day! \n\n\n\nYou don’t have to know everyone in town. \n\n\n\nBut knowing the people right around you? \n\n\n\nThat’s a pretty good place to start building a community. ❤️

(But plan for the concessions…. my kids LOVE bowling alley food\, just sayin’) \n\n\n\nParents\, do you want to bowl with your kids? Then you’ll want to check out the Family Pass! This allows parents\, older siblings and babysitters to bowl alongside the registered kids. This is a one-time payment that allows up to 4 adults to bowl 2 games free all summer long\, with your Kids Bowl Free registered children. (You can add the family pass on at any time during the season.) \n\n\n\nHow it works: \n\n\n\n\nLocate a Kids Bowl Free participating location near you (this is the only one covered all summer)\n\n\n\nRegister – Create your Kids Bowl Free account and register your kids.  Decide if the Family Pass is right for your family.\n\n\n\nHave Fun – Make Memories – Go Screen-Free — Make New Friends–  Bowl 2 games free every day\, all summer long! \n\n\n\n\nThings to Note: \n\n\n\n\nEach bowling alley determines the times the program is active. Program begins April 30th! You can find the details here when you choose a location near you. Dates and Times will vary! (I’ve seen some start as early as April 30th and as late as June 1st and end between August 30-Sept 2) I’ve seen only 1 with hours available 7 days a week.\n\n\n\nCheck each location for age requirements. I’ve seen them range from 2-18 with some ending as early as 15.\n\n\n\nI found at least 8 participating centers within 60 minutes of Clintonville.\n\n\n\nThe Registration is not transferable between the different bowling centers.
