Each registered child (check each center for age requirements) gets to bowl 2 games free every single day!  (Check individual bowling alleys for shoe rental details) all summer long at NO Cost to Parents!  (But plan for the concessions…. my kids LOVE bowling alley food\, just sayin’) \n\n\n\nParents\, do you want to bowl with your kids? Then you’ll want to check out the Family Pass! This allows parents\, older siblings and babysitters to bowl alongside the registered kids. This is a one-time payment that allows up to 4 adults to bowl 2 games free all summer long\, with your Kids Bowl Free registered children. (You can add the family pass on at any time during the season.) \n\n\n\nHow it works: \n\n\n\n\nLocate a Kids Bowl Free participating location near you (this is the only one covered all summer)\n\n\n\nRegister – Create your Kids Bowl Free account and register your kids.  Decide if the Family Pass is right for your family.\n\n\n\nHave Fun – Make Memories – Go Screen-Free — Make New Friends–  Bowl 2 games free every day\, all summer long! \n\n\n\n\nThings to Note: \n\n\n\n\nEach bowling alley determines the times the program is active. Program begins April 30th! You can find the details here when you choose a location near you. Dates and Times will vary! (I’ve seen some start as early as April 30th and as late as June 1st and end between August 30-Sept 2) I’ve seen only 1 with hours available 7 days a week.\n\n\n\nCheck each location for age requirements. I’ve seen them range from 2-18 with some ending as early as 15.\n\n\n\nI found at least 8 participating centers within 60 minutes of Clintonville.\n\n\n\nThe Registration is not transferable between the different bowling centers.

DESCRIPTION:Every Day is Holiday Facebook Post \n\n\n\n🦜 EVERY DAY IS A HOLIDAY! 🦜September 17 is Pet Bird Day! \n\n\n\nCats had their day. \n\n\n\nThe reptiles got theirs. \n\n\n\nToday we’re celebrating the family members who are colorful\, clever\, occasionally cuddly… \n\n\n\nand perfectly capable of OUT-YELLING THE ENTIRE HOUSE. 😂 \n\n\n\nIt’s Pet Bird Day! 🐦❤️ \n\n\n\n🦜 BIRDS ARE PRETTY INCREDIBLE PETS. \n\n\n\nDepending on the species\, pet birds can learn sounds\, solve puzzles\, recognize routines and form incredibly strong bonds with their humans. \n\n\n\nAnd some parrots can even learn to imitate human speech. \n\n\n\nWhich sounds adorable… \n\n\n\nuntil your bird learns something you REALLY wish it hadn’t. 😳😂 \n\n\n\n🐦 DID YOU KNOW? \n\n\n\n🦜 Parrots use their feet almost like hands to grab and manipulate things — including their food. \n\n\n\n💤 Many birds need a consistent routine and plenty of uninterrupted sleep. \n\n\n\n🧩 Intelligent bird species need enrichment and things to DO. DESCRIPTION:The Waupaca Historical Society will welcome Dr. Connie Haack-Hurlbut for “A Visit with Margaret Ashmun” on Thursday\, September 17\, at 6 p.m. at the Holly History & Genealogy Center at 321 S. Main Street\, Waupaca. \n\n\n\n Born in Rural in 1875\, Margaret Ashmun went on to become an educator\, author\, editor\, artist\, traveler\, and biographer. Her sizeable body of work explored subjects that remain surprisingly relevant today\, including women’s education and independence\, adoption and the hopes for caring homes\, the effects of domestic violence\, the horrors of war and the need to find joy in everyday life. Even today\, Ashmun’s books and writings continue to attract readers and researchers.  \n\n\n\nHaack-Hurlbut’s journey into Ashmun’s life began with a chance question she heard on a Wisconsin Public Radio call-in program and grew into decades of “detective work” that took her from Waupaca and the Chain O’Lakes to libraries and archives in Wisconsin\, Washington\, D.C.\, New York City\, and locations connected to Ashmun’s life in Connecticut and Massachusetts. \n\n\n\n A retired college educator and longtime community volunteer\, Haack-Hurlbut was selected Wisconsin Teacher of the Year\, then chosen Midwest Teacher of the Year and became one of four finalists for the AVA/ACTE National Teacher of the Year. She was also featured in the American Association of University Women’s book\, “Dreamers and Doers of Northeast Wisconsin\, Vol 1.” Like Ashmun\, Haack-Hurlbut credits her own formative years in Waupaca’s Girl Scouts\, Job’s Daughters\, and local restaurant work for shaping her lifelong commitment to education and service.  \n\n\n\nThis program is free and open to the public\, and all are welcome to attend. Each registered child (check each center for age requirements) gets to bowl 2 games free every single day!  (Check individual bowling alleys for shoe rental details) all summer long at NO Cost to Parents!  (But plan for the concessions…. my kids LOVE bowling alley food\, just sayin’) \n\n\n\nParents\, do you want to bowl with your kids? Then you’ll want to check out the Family Pass! This allows parents\, older siblings and babysitters to bowl alongside the registered kids. This is a one-time payment that allows up to 4 adults to bowl 2 games free all summer long\, with your Kids Bowl Free registered children. (You can add the family pass on at any time during the season.) \n\n\n\nHow it works: \n\n\n\n\nLocate a Kids Bowl Free participating location near you (this is the only one covered all summer)\n\n\n\nRegister – Create your Kids Bowl Free account and register your kids.  Decide if the Family Pass is right for your family.\n\n\n\nHave Fun – Make Memories – Go Screen-Free — Make New Friends–  Bowl 2 games free every day\, all summer long! \n\n\n\n\nThings to Note: \n\n\n\n\nEach bowling alley determines the times the program is active. Program begins April 30th! You can find the details here when you choose a location near you. Dates and Times will vary! (I’ve seen some start as early as April 30th and as late as June 1st and end between August 30-Sept 2) I’ve seen only 1 with hours available 7 days a week.\n\n\n\nCheck each location for age requirements. I’ve seen them range from 2-18 with some ending as early as 15.\n\n\n\nI found at least 8 participating centers within 60 minutes of Clintonville.\n\n\n\nThe Registration is not transferable between the different bowling centers.

DESCRIPTION:Every Day is a Holiday Facebook post  \n\n\n\n🍮 EVERY DAY IS A HOLIDAY! 🍮September 19 is Butterscotch Pudding Day! \n\n\n\nToday’s holiday tastes a little like something Grandma would’ve made. ❤️ \n\n\n\nIt’s Butterscotch Pudding Day! \n\n\n\nBut first… \n\n\n\n🤔 WHAT EXACTLY IS BUTTERSCOTCH? \n\n\n\nDespite the name\, we’re not pouring Scotch whisky into the kids’ pudding. 😂 \n\n\n\nTraditional butterscotch is made primarily with brown sugar and butter\, giving it that rich\, caramel-like flavor. \n\n\n\n🍬 BUTTERSCOTCH VS. CARAMEL \n\n\n\nThey’re cousins — but they’re not exactly the same! \n\n\n\nCaramel is traditionally made by heating white granulated sugar\, while butterscotch gets its distinctive flavor from brown sugar and butter. \n\n\n\nAnd today we’re turning that goodness into pudding. \n\n\n\n👩‍🍳 EASY HOMEMADE BUTTERSCOTCH PUDDING \n\n\n\nYou probably already have most of this in the kitchen! \n\n\n\n🥛 2 cups milk🤎 ½ cup packed brown sugar🌽 3 tablespoons cornstarch🧂 Pinch of salt🥚 2 egg yolks🧈 2 tablespoons butter🥄 1 teaspoon vanilla \n\n\n\nHERE WE GO! \n\n\n\nIn a saucepan\, whisk together the brown sugar\, cornstarch and salt. \n\n\n\nSlowly whisk in the milk and egg yolks. \n\n\n\nCook over medium heat\, stirring frequently\, until the mixture thickens and begins to gently bubble. \n\n\n\nRemove from the heat and stir in the butter and vanilla. \n\n\n\nPour into little bowls and serve warm — OR refrigerate until cold. \n\n\n\nAdd whipped cream if you’re feeling fancy. \n\n\n\nCongratulations. Walk for Wildlife was created *21 years ago* to support this 1 purpose– to help wildlife found by the public that are brought to Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary! Join us Saturday\, September 19th on the trails and along the way see some Animal Ambassadors at stations!
