DESCRIPTION:While some might argue that it’s too early to put the Christmas tree up or break out the winter hats and mittens\, we here at the Sheriff’s Office say it’s never too early to learn snowmobile safety! The season is actually right around the corner – whether your holiday festivities have begun or not – and we encourage all riders to be educated\, prepared\, and safe. \n\n\n\nPersons 12 years or older and born after January 1\, 1985 must have a snowmobile safety certification to operate a snowmobile on public trails or waterways. The reading material and testing is geared towards 11 and 12 year old students. If you have any questions\, feel free to contact Deputy Fischer at the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office 920-832-5605 or at the email provided on the Go Wild registration site. \n\n\n\nStudents must register online using the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Go Wild page. Select the link to browse for safety courses and search for Snowmobile in Outagamie County. You will find our class at the Shadows on the Wolf Educational Center. A parent or guardian MUST attend the first class; but adults are encouraged to attend all the classes with their students. Students should bring something to write with and booklets will be provided.

DESCRIPTION:Attendees at the November 20\, 2025 selected a library service project as the activity for our December 18 Teen Program. Specifically\, we will move books in the fiction area. Snacks will be provided.The books are being moved to lower the highest shelves into a position easier to reach by shorter people. To make this possible\, all of the shelves will be moved closer together vertically. When possible\, books will be moved one shelf above the floor to increase accessibility. This may sound complicated\, but it just takes time and a bit of focus to complete.This service project is an opportunity to help the library\, learn skills\, and create a record of accomplishment to share when seeking scholarships and employment.Teen Programs will meet at 4 pm on the third Thursday\, every other month\, in the Sturm Memorial Library meeting room. The Teen Advisory Board\, aka TAB\, will be held the alternating month.
