They were written to a local boyhood friend of theirs and show a much different perspective of military life than what they may have been writing home to their family. DESCRIPTION:9a-2p  Craft and Vendor Fair AND Kids Market (over 80 vendors)\n\nVendors will be located at Chet and Emil’s and Birnamwood School\n\n\n\n\n\n9a-2p Food Truck (Birnamwood School) \n\nLos Magueyes\n\n\n\n\n\nFundraisers\n\nRaffle Baskets and Desserts to benefit Norrie Lakers 4-H (Chet and Emil’s)\n\n\n\nRaffle Baskets and Desserts to benefit Birnamwood Polka Days (Birnamwood School)\n\n\n\nPurchase a Snack or Lunch to benefit Chargers Youth Wrestling (Birnamwood School )\n\n\n\n\n\n10:30-12:00 Noon – DIY Holiday Flower Workshop (Birnamwood School)\n\nBook a spot to create your very own wood flower arrangement with Timber and Petal\n\n\n\n\n\nScavenger Hunt (For ALL ages) 9a-2p Prizes Drawn at 7pm (Chet & Emil’s)\n\nPick up your card at Chet & Emil’s starting at 9am – Find each character\, stamp your card\, find the Polka Day’s Royalty\, then turn in your card.\n\n\n\nCards MUST be turned in by 2pm to be entered!\n\n\n\nGrand prize for children and adult categories\n\n\n\nOne Entry per Person.  Need NOT be present to win.\n\n\n\n\n\nNoon to 2pm – Visit with Santa 🎅 (Matsche Center)\n\nKids complete a holiday craft\n\n\n\n\n\n4:30pm until sold out – Chili Supper (Chet and Emil’s)\n\nAll you can eat soup.\n\n$10 (ages 13+)\, $6 (6-12) 5 and under: FREE\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n6pm – Holiday Parade\n\nJoin us on Main Street for a lighted holiday parade you won’t forget.\n\n\n\nTree Lighting at Matsche Center following the parade.
