DESCRIPTION:The Public School Open Enrollment period is open!Fill out the form for alternative in-person public school options and also virtual and virtual hybrid partnership school options. \n\n\n\nFind the form and FAQ here: https://dpi.wi.gov/open-enrollment \n\n\n\nWhat is Open Enrollment?\n\n\n\nThe inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend public school in a school district other than the one in which they reside. \n\n\n\nWho can apply?\n\n\n\nAny Wisconsin resident in 4K to grade 12 may apply to attend a nonresident school district under the open enrollment program. However\, a child may transfer to a nonresident school district for early childhood education or 4K only if the child’s resident school district offers the same type of program and only if the child is eligible for that program in the resident school district. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere was a question a while back regarding open-enrollment. \n\n\n\nAccording to the WI DPI\, these are the only acceptable reasons a resident district can deny an open-enrollment request. \n\n\n\nPlease note that it does not say “too many students have applied to out-of-district schools”. It also doesn’t allow attendance records at the resident school to determine open-enrollment status to an out-of-district school. \n\n\n\nThis is just for Open Enrollment\, this does not include the School Voucher Programs. \n\n\n\nDeadline for Open Enrollment (public school) is April 30th \n\n\n\nDeadline for School Choice (private school) is April 17th. \n\n\n\nI also found out that there is a non-profit organization advocating for Virtual and Open-enrollment students. (Check individual bowling alleys for shoe rental details) all summer long at NO Cost to Parents!  (But plan for the concessions…. my kids LOVE bowling alley food\, just sayin’) \n\n\n\nParents\, do you want to bowl with your kids? Then you’ll want to check out the Family Pass! This allows parents\, older siblings and babysitters to bowl alongside the registered kids. This is a one-time payment that allows up to 4 adults to bowl 2 games free all summer long\, with your Kids Bowl Free registered children. (You can add the family pass on at any time during the season.) \n\n\n\nHow it works: \n\n\n\n\nLocate a Kids Bowl Free participating location near you (this is the only one covered all summer)\n\n\n\nRegister – Create your Kids Bowl Free account and register your kids.  Decide if the Family Pass is right for your family.\n\n\n\nHave Fun – Make Memories – Go Screen-Free — Make New Friends–  Bowl 2 games free every day\, all summer long! \n\n\n\n\nThings to Note: \n\n\n\n\nEach bowling alley determines the times the program is active. Program begins April 30th! You can find the details here when you choose a location near you. Dates and Times will vary! (I’ve seen some start as early as April 30th and as late as June 1st and end between August 30-Sept 2) I’ve seen only 1 with hours available 7 days a week.\n\n\n\nCheck each location for age requirements. I’ve seen them range from 2-18 with some ending as early as 15.\n\n\n\nI found at least 8 participating centers within 60 minutes of Clintonville.\n\n\n\nThe Registration is not transferable between the different bowling centers.

(But plan for the concessions…. my kids LOVE bowling alley food\, just sayin’) \n\n\n\nParents\, do you want to bowl with your kids? Then you’ll want to check out the Family Pass! This allows parents\, older siblings and babysitters to bowl alongside the registered kids. This is a one-time payment that allows up to 4 adults to bowl 2 games free all summer long\, with your Kids Bowl Free registered children. (You can add the family pass on at any time during the season.) \n\n\n\nHow it works: \n\n\n\n\nLocate a Kids Bowl Free participating location near you (this is the only one covered all summer)\n\n\n\nRegister – Create your Kids Bowl Free account and register your kids.  Decide if the Family Pass is right for your family.\n\n\n\nHave Fun – Make Memories – Go Screen-Free — Make New Friends–  Bowl 2 games free every day\, all summer long! \n\n\n\n\nThings to Note: \n\n\n\n\nEach bowling alley determines the times the program is active. Program begins April 30th! You can find the details here when you choose a location near you. Dates and Times will vary! (I’ve seen some start as early as April 30th and as late as June 1st and end between August 30-Sept 2) I’ve seen only 1 with hours available 7 days a week.\n\n\n\nCheck each location for age requirements. I’ve seen them range from 2-18 with some ending as early as 15.\n\n\n\nI found at least 8 participating centers within 60 minutes of Clintonville.\n\n\n\nThe Registration is not transferable between the different bowling centers.
