About Us

I am a mom of three kids ages 11 to 24. I am excited to constantly find the affordable family-friendly things to do in Clintonville and surrounding areas.

My husband and I moved our family to Deer Creek in 2015 from the Fox Valley. There was an adjustment period as we figured out how to find local activities. (My kids were 13, 4, and 15 months when we moved here). There was a lot of “Oh Man! We missed it, the kids would have loved that!”

A couple of years later, I discovered Macaroni KID and launched the Macaroni KID Clintonville edition in November 2017. In April 2023, Macaroni KID and I went our separate ways. Our name has changed, but our mission has never wavered.

I love supporting our local organizations, shops, and stores. I absolutely love finding all the events in the area and putting them in one spot. I’m one of those people that needs my phone calendar, a paper calendar and several reminder notifications. We live in a special area with several “well-kept secrets” so if you have any suggestions of places I should check out, please, let me know.

You’ll frequently find us strolling on the Main Streets (or the equivalent) in town. We like to grab meals from local restaurants when we can. My family can frequently be spotted “in the wild” at many of the events that you see on the calendar.

A little bit about my professional background. I have an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, I worked for a local hospital network in a non-clinical role in both the hospital and clinic settings for ten years before becoming a licensed EMT-Basic and a licensed CPR Instructor. I’ve received extensive on-the-job training with Macaroni KID National over the years. I’ve enjoyed learning how to fit the training to our community and now I’m excited for the possibilities that exist as we create our own path.

Rural Northeast Wisconsin Families was created with families like ours in mind, new to the area, and needing to know the events for a variety of ages, shops, and services available.

The site is still under construction and constantly growing and improving. We are very much looking forward to continuing the work we had started, including hosting some events.

Welcome! I look forward to seeing you around our wonderful area!
