Due to the dangerous flooding conditions in Shiocton and New London, spawning activity is unable to be monitored this year.

Sturgeon can be seen spawning at the Shawano Dam, but due to flooding and high water, please stay on the upper deck and observe warning signs.

DePere Dam – Lower Fox River – Sturgeon have been observed in shallow water along the shoreline near the wildlife viewing platform. Poor water clarity makes viewing difficult and no spawning activity has been reported yet.

Pestigo Dam- Pestigo River – Some sturgeon have been seen in the lower Pestigo River, but high flows are not ideal for viewing.
