🚢⚓Sensory Friendly Evening at the Maritime Museum

February 20 @ 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Museums are for everyone! Join us for a sensory-friendly evening designed for anyone looking for a more relaxed museum experience, no matter their age or ability level, as well as their caregivers and families.


At this FREE event, you’ll have access to the Museum as well as an opportunity to take a sensory-friendly submarine tour aboard USS COBIA!

  • Loud exhibit sounds will be turned down
  • Our Sensory Backpacks will be out! These backpacks include:
    • Visual schedules
    • Weighted lap blankets
    • Social narratives
    • Headphones
    • Fidgets
    • A communication book.

Please note that these backpacks are free to check out for use in the Museum anytime.
