Have you ever been curious about how historical engineering and building projects were made, or how we learn about them today? Join us for a virtual discussion with author Laurie Lawlor, whose recent book, Many Voices: Building Erie, the Canal That Changed America, explores how the Canal affected Milwaukee and what the story can teach us now. Better yet, stick around to ask her about her job, writing process, and how she became an author of books for both adults and young readers! Best suited for grades 3+, but all ages are welcome.
