2026 National Night Out in Howard
August 4 @ 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
The Brown County Sheriff’s Department/Howard Police and Howard Fire Rescue invite the community to visit with us from 5 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 4, 2026, at the Howard Commons Activity Complex, located at 550 Commons Place in Howard, to share some fun at National Night Out.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help keep our community a safe place to live.
There will be many family-friendly activities and demonstrations throughout the night. Boy Scout Troop #1033 will be fundraising through food sales, and there will also be ice cream and sweet treats for sale.
The evening’s activities include:
- • Brown County Sheriff’s Department (BCSD) K9 Unit demonstration
- • BCSD SWAT Vehicle
- • Fire Safety House and inflatable Fire Prevention House
- • Fire Truck tours
- • Animal Control information
- • Dunk tank
- • Bounce House
- • Face Painting
- • Food Trucks
- FREE roller skating
- SWAT and EMS vehicles
- Eagle III Medical Helicopter (weather and emergencies permitting)
• Many other fun activities
We hope to see you there!
Plus, help us fill The Giving Tree, Howard-Suamico School District by bringing a non-perishable food item. Donations will be collected during open hours until August 10.
We’ll also have our Paint Your Tile Night from 5–8 p.m.! Purchase your Patriot’s Flag Mural tile ($25) and paint it on-site before enjoying the rest of National Night Out festivities.
