And since it’s Sunday, we’re declaring this an excellent excuse for a little quiet time before another busy week begins.

☕ Coffee + a book on the porch?

🛋️ Everybody pile onto the couch for a family story?

🌳 Grab a blanket and read outside?

🔦 Build a blanket fort and let the kids read by flashlight?

🚗 Audiobook during today’s family adventure?

IT ALL COUNTS.

And here’s something worth remembering:

📚 Reading doesn’t have to mean sitting down with a 400-page novel.

Comic books count.

Graphic novels count.

Cookbooks count.

Magazines count.

E-books count.

Audiobooks count.

That same children’s book your kid has requested approximately 7,492 times absolutely counts. 😂

❤️ MAKE IT A FAMILY CHALLENGE!

Set a timer for 20 minutes.

Everybody picks something they WANT to read — no assignments, no reading levels, no book reports afterward.

Just read.

For little ones, let them “read” the pictures or tell YOU the story.

Then everybody gets one question:
