Waupaca Historical Society

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Step back in time and explore Waupaca’s history with a visit to the Waupaca Historical Society!
The Waupaca Railroad Depot is open Saturday and Sunday from 12:00–5:00 p.m. Stop in to see the historic Depot and enjoy the model train display.
The Hutchinson House Museum is open Saturday and Sunday from 1:00–4:00 p.m. Tour one of Waupaca’s oldest homes and discover what life was like for early settlers.
The historic Commandant’s House at King will also be open on Saturday from 7:00–8:00 p.m., immediately following the Chain Skiers show. Take advantage of this special opportunity to tour the Wisconsin Veterans Home’s oldest building!
Admission to all sites is FREE, and visitors of all ages are welcome. Bring the family and make local history part of your weekend plans!
