We recently upgraded the website and the event calendar. Unfortunately, it didn’t go quite as smoothly as anticipated. We have discovered a few glitches and have a few workarounds until we can work with the vendor to get them fixed.
If you run into a glitch that I haven’t covered here, please let me know so I can work with my vendor to get it fixed ASAP. I also left the old Google Calendar up on the site so if you prefer that one or if the new one is frustrating you.
First, the new calendar works well on phone, if you start with daily-view. You can switch to all the other views from there. Most features appear to be working on tablets and computers. Not all the features for the Submit an Event features are working yet. If you need to enter a new venue or organizer, you can put it in one of the additional details fields and I’ll fix it before it goes live on the site. If you have a category or tag you want included, you can also put that in an additional field. I want to thank you for your patience as we work through these changes. We are working with our web hosts and vendors to get this fixed as soon as possible.
