Cancer Fundraisers | Upgraded Calendar | Submit Events | Restaurant Guide
We’ve been rebuilding our business from scratch and building the site for about a year now. I want to thank you all for your patience. We are so proud of the upgraded calendar. We worked out the glitches so all the features should be working properly whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer. We want to make it as easy as possible to find the local events.
We’re still not done with the site. We are working on our next big project. It should tie in quite nicely with the Restaurant Guide.
We also want to thank those who visit the restaurants in our restaurant guide. I hope you’ve had a chance to check out the incredible, exclusive coupons that are available inside it. We also appreciate any and all purchases that are made through our affiliate links.
On a more personal note, as you know, we are a very small, family-run business. A couple of weeks ago, we found out that our sister-in-law was diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive form of breast cancer. There are several fundraisers that have been started to help offset lost wages, medical, travel, and other unexpected expenses as their family goes through this difficult journey. We have several exciting projects we’re working on behind-the-scenes. The calendar is always our primary focus. The ability for community members to add events to the calendar has been activated. It’s super easy and we would greatly appreciate it. Submitted events get published to the site before any other events we find. You do not need to be the host to submit an event. We will proofread all events and if you’d like to discuss any of the other premium features we have available to help promote your event, we’d love to chat.
