While Halloween has just wrapped up, and some of us are still finalizing Thanksgiving plans, Christmas plans are ramping up pretty fast too. Many local communities have opportunities for local businesses, organizations and families to decorate “community trees” for families to tour and enjoy. There’s nothing quite like wandering around looking at 25, 30, 50 or even 150 different trees in an hour or so. It’s fun seeing how creative people can get with their trees.
New this year, we have signed up to decorate a tree as well! We’ll be putting up our tree for the event late next week. We’re very excited. We see many Community Christmas Tree events so we handed the reins to our kids to choose which event we’re celebrating!
They choose the event and they’ll be helping with the decorations for the tree too! The “kids” range in age from 2-25, so we got ornaments for all of them!
