What’s Happening This Week – Holiday Edition and Holiday Lights

This weekend is supposed to be not very jolly for outdoor Holiday events so we found affordable INDOOR family fun!

One of my family’s favorite Holiday Traditions was driving around with holiday music on the radio, snacks, PJs, blankets and warm drinks looking at the different Christmas Light Displays.

We created a playlist of our absolute favorites! Are we missing your favorite? Let us know and we’ll get it added!

We’ve hopefully made it easy for you to find the light shows closest to you! We also opted for the affordable ones – some can get pretty pricy, so much like the events on the calendar, we tried to keep it under $20 for the average family, with the vast majority being FREE. We tried to provide as much information as possible for your family to enjoy the shows!

If we’re missing a light display- it’s FREE and Easy to let us know. We have a form right here. Just fill out as many details as possible and we’ll get it added to the map.

We have a general Holiday filter for those holiday events that Santa might not be able to attend.

In my opinion, one of the most important filters is the RSVP filter! We don’t want anyone to miss a registration deadline!

Check the full calendar often as more events get added daily! Did you know you can filter the calendar by location and can search the calendar by keywords? Which calendar view is your favorite? Month List or Summary? (For me, it depends on which device I’m using and what I’m looking for).

As I wrote in the last article, I’m opting for the links instead of individual events because events get added so quickly, the perfect event for your family could miss the publication deadline.

Some of you have signed up to get the newsletters/e-mailed notifications when new articles get posted, and we try to limit those to no more than 1 per week.
